Where should I go for Gorilla Trekking Democratic republic of Congo, Rwanda or Uganda?
This is one of the questions that most people planning a gorilla trekking adventure in Africa ask themselves. Is it Uganda or Rwanda? I run down a list of advantages and disadvantages and I give our take on a gorilla trekking adventure in Africa. This adventure is an epic one and it must be done by everyone at-least in their lifetime reason being these endangered animals are only in the 3 countries of Uganda, Rwanda and the democratic Republic of Congo and no mountain gorilla is in any Zoo in the world .
The Democratic Republic of Congo has the primates in the Virunga national park but the country is highly volatile with conflicts breaking out more frequently we would not recommend a gorilla trekking adventure there. Prices of the gorilla trekking permits in the park costs 400 USD the saving of $200 in relation to Uganda to trek the primates in Congo is not worthy it compared to the risks that can lead to loss of life.
