Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in the Western Region of Uganda a great National park with many tourist activities like Birdwatching with over 600 bird species in the national park. The par is found in the districts of Kamwenge, Rubirizi, Kasese, and Rukugiri and Queen Elizabeth National Park was formed in 1952 and named after the queen of England was created to conserve the wildlife in this area of Uganda.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is area size that is approximately 400 kilometers squared located in southwestern Uganda. The park is famous for the tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, the Kazinga channel boat Launch rides that get you to explore various animals in the channel that lasts 40 kilometers between lake George and lake Edward.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is known for its wildlife like hippopotamus, African leopard, Nile crocodile, African bush elephant, African buffalo, Ugandan Kob, lion, and chimpanzee and other 95 Mammals.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is rich in volcanic features like Katwe craters a volcanic lake rich in soda ash and one of the major economic activity here is soda ash mining.
